A Clown and a Tiger Meet at the Circus

Guess I was mixed up on who was on O and who was on D when apparent punch was thrown but you get the idea..............

ORLANDO, Fla. -- This is why top NFL prospects opt out of bowl games.

Clemson standout junior defensive back Andrew Booth Jr. was thrown to the ground and briefly pinned by Iowa State freshman wide receiver Jaylin Noel during Wednesday night’s Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium.

Booth was visibly angry at Noel while being escorted to the injury tent. Replays appeared to show Noel throwing a punch while Booth was on the ground, but no penalty was called on the play.
That stuff happens every game. I'm not opposed to players sitting out bowl games as its their choice, but based on this logic if a player is a pro prospect then its illogical for any of them to play a snap after they're eligible to go pro. I guess I see it on par with it being totally illogical for any pro prospects to play as seniors. IMO its a reach.

Would have to disagree especially when the ref called nothing. Noel should have been ejected. Clemson player was helped off the field. The punch was clear and the ref was right on top of it.
