9-9 Monkey finally off Kirk's back

Lots of players play before they're "ready". His "not ready" was still better than Rudock's ready. And CJ played a hell of a lot better against Purdue than Jake played against ISU, Ball State, Nebraska, and probably everyone else. There were 7 drops that game so your memory clearly sucks and you're going off stats.
Well why the hell didn't you get your ass to Iowa City and tell Kirk that he was ready for the Iowa State game, since you KNEW that, LOL.........You are one of the most hilarious people I've ever encountered!!! So we can blame everything on you for not taking charge and telling KF and Coach Davis that he was MORE ready than JR for the Iowa St. game!!! And every other game!!! You really let us, KF, and coach Davis down by not telling us who was the MOST ready before Ball St., Iowa St. and all the rest of the games!!!! Bahahahahahahahahahahahaha........Be honest, are you really Ashton Kutcher and we're all being 'punked'.....Bahahahahaha............

I'm still pissed at you for not telling Kirk to not burn Stanley's redshirt. Such a stupid thing to say. Kirk has his opinion on how ready a player has to be before he plays just like every other coach has their opinions on when to play players. My opinion is when a player comes in and is noticeably better than the other player, he's ready.

Do you really believe CJ was ready to be the starter coming out of fall camp in 2014? He wasn't even close yet with his pre-snap reads and progressions. etc. I saw it with my own eyes and heard what Davis was chewing his butt about. He didn't play well in his 1st start against Purdue, but it was at that point that he figured out what it took to be a starter and started maturing rapidly. You can woulda, coulda, shoulda, all you want, but that is the reality of it.....

I sawa with my owna 3 eyesa that when CJ was in the gamea that the teamsa morale was lifted.

Maybe Stanley's dad threatened to hold a press conference?

I was there for some of those obliterations during the 15yr streak. Glorious memories. IIRC Iowa also had some amazing win streaks against Wisky and NW during the Fry regime. I would luv for Kirk to repeat some of those streaks. I'm starting to get verklempt thinking about it.

If Hayden had been coaching last Saturday, we would have won 56-3, cause he wouldn't have called off the dogs in the 4th. Sort of miss that but then that's just not Kirk.
