$8,000,000 for back to back Insight bowls

Well, if you want to get technical, this year's team overachieved by reaching the same bowl game that last year's team littered with NFL players fell to.

Invest 8,000,000 to get 60,000,000 plus....sounds like a good investment.

I'm not agreeing with the OP, but the $60MM is not exactly accurate. The U reaps a large benefit, after charging back the athletic department for expenses, but mostly though accounting and increased enrollment.

I won't bore you with the rest, it upsets me actually.

My thoughts are: you should change your username to "ferentz4whentimesaregoodbut4firingwhenbad"

I just checked on this, and apparently it is taken.

as is "replaceFranwithBrucePearl" and "Pakio'mearaforHeisman"

wierd, I know...

Last year = underachieving
This year = neither over- nor under-achieving

I couldn't care less how much he is paid.

Thouhgts? Ok, I think you lay awake thinking of making thoughtful, insightful posts.

Unfortunately...

My thoughts are the salary criticism is old. And who really cares what he is paid? Does it come out of your pocket? Didn't think so.

Perfectly fine with it. Fine with $12M for a three peat too.

Count me as another who doesn't give a rip what he's paid....that crap's getting old. The media seems to have a woody for it too. Find something else to write about.

I have a problem with it. The guy is paid top 5, do we get top 5 results? No, we barely get top 25 results.
