66 yards got me thinking that Wisconsin must

have a defense that is better than the Steel Curtain. Given all the crap teams they have played, they surely must have held a bunch of teams to sub 100 yard days because no way our $4mm+ head coach could drop such a stinky turd unless that defense is just totally elite, right? Wrong. Even teams like Illinois put up close to 300 yards. BYU was the only one under 200, IIRC. And this ain't the BYU team with Ty Detmer at QB. This is a terrible BYU team.

66 yards of offense. 66. Not 366 or 266 or even 166, but 66. 21 minutes time of possession. Less than 1 yard average per rush. 1.7 yards per average per pass. Five first downs. The offense conceded more points than they had first downs. I've watched a lot of football, seen a lot of games, lot of teams, lot of styles, lot of good defenses. But I cannot think of a single game I have ever seen where one team got destroyed so thoroughly in every facet of the offense. I mean, maybe Alabama or LSU does something like that against D-II team every so often, but this offense has just gotten out of hand with how crappy it is. Wisconsin is our most important recruiting opponent and for us to get trucked like that is appalling.

Illinois 300 yards were gained by 3 100 yard gainers: their QB's dad's mullet, porn stache, and eye black. If only papa Stanley were as cool.

It was a pathetic display of offense. We might have been better off plowing butler and young just straight ahead on 1st and 2nd down and maybe on 3rd down. I wouldnt say it was a total anomaly as the first half against MSU was pretty bad and the 2nd half of jNW was really bad until the hawks got behind (which is a feature of KF). And some other games had some bad halves of offense.

Stanley was too hyped for this game, that's something the coaching staff should have recognized. That being said we saw the can't catch gang strike again. Marsette, first down drop. Fant, possible touchdown drop. Vandenberg, letting the ball go over his head to bounce inside the 10. I was praying for the third down quick kick just to change field position. Can't count the number of times an Iowa player had one man to beat and decided to run right into them. Just frustrating game that was there for the taking if we had coaches that could adjust to the game.

Miserable display on offense. Hard to imagine the powers that be at Iowa would ever consider biring BF as a head coach. On to Basketball for me.

66 yards. That's hard to be that bad. It's breathtaking in its ineptitude. That's like a kid not even shading in the right ovals on the name portion of the ACT bad.

Hey, last week they hung the most points ever on an Urban Meyer coached team. This week they were held to the fewest yards ever against a Wisconsin team. The Hawks are busy setting records for other teams. However, I'd like them to exercise a bit more discretion as they work their way into other programs' media guides.

That alone would have gotten them over 100 yards. Conversely, just have Stanley chuck it deep 3 plays in a row, every time. Odds are they would have completed 1 or 2 of those.

You almost have to try to be that bad. 66 yards? Seriously?? How do you go from scoring 55 points to gaining 66 yards. It just makes no sense.

Eddie during the broadcast said something like, "I expected Wisconsin to be tough. What is happening is beyond my comprehension.".

Utah State - 310 yards
Florida Atlantic - 248
BYU - 192
NW 244
NE 381
Pur 221
MD 268
IL 286
IU 266

IOWA 66

Someone had to be the lowest. Iowa was 126 yards lower than #2. Iowa was 156 yards lower than #3. Iowa was 178 yards lower than #4.

Those who have been skeptical of KF/BF are really off and bad people.
