6-foot-6 guard Moore could replace Hubbard

Double hmmm...

The Pleasant Hill, Calif., native has only played two years of organized basketball and didn’t meet the academic requirements to be eligible as a college freshman until recently.

He looks pretty good, and fills a big need for Iowa, but the real question is does Fran think he would want him to marry his daughter?

Seriously, though, this would be a good pickup late in the game.

Moore would be a tremendous pick up this late in the game. Definitely has the ball handling and court vision to play point guard. Also see where he has a 6'11" wingspan! When is the last time you saw a PG with a seven foot wingspan?

Why would you throw this comment in there? Makes the rest of your post lose credibility because of your obvious troll attempt.

It wasn't trolling, just an attempt at humor. If you can't laugh at the Hubbard debacle, than what can you do?

Hell, at this stage, why not? We're not really in a position to turn our nose up at anyone at this point - I say take this kid! Looks good on film.

How many success stories does the Iowa football team have on kids like this? Who's to say this couldn't be one for the bball team?

Could be tough to beat providence out. They are going after him hard. But moore says he wants to play PG in an up-and-down system. His mom has diabetes and isn't in tremendous health, so the awesome hospitals at U of I would have to be attractive as well.

I hope Fran offers and is able to sign him. Physically Moore, imo, looks a lot like Devyn Marble does right now but is a better ball handler than Devyn was as a freshman. This could be an important get both for this season and down the road. I was also impressed with the workouts he is going thru.

Moore repeated his junior year because of being in a boys juvenile center so that is most likely the "red flag" y'all are lookin for.

At this stage beggars can't be choosers and another body would be a good thing especially at PG.

That being said and just viewing this tape and seeing Hubbard play, I think Hubbard would have been more productive in Big Ten play.

Moore doesn't have an explosive break off his head and shoulder fake. Not what I would call quick. Again, I have only seen this AAU tape. Would love to have seen some sanctioned highlights. Then again when u r that tall off the top, all you need is one step, covering a lot of ground, to seal off the defender and create a lane.

Probably too hard to make a judgement one way or another from this clip
