590 Omaha Nebby talk show

Oh, teh horrah!!!! Omaha sports talk radio stations talk mostly Nebraska football, especially during football season?!?! You do realize that Omaha is in Nebraska, don't you? Maybe not.

Well, if I lived in Scottsbluff, I wouldn't be all butthurt that I got all Buffaloes or Broncos sports talk if I was tuning in to Denver stations.

The intelligent person would try Des Moines media if they want more Hawkeye related information. It is especially easy now a-day with these new fangled Interwebs and smart phones thingies that we now have.

Oh Hunter such logic...they are the flagship station carrying Iowa football games...little sarcasm there. I expect ignorance from Husker fans...just like I
would like to call in and ask how the freshman did that played the second half.

My cat Charlie would kick your *** Vintage! He is an outside cat that kills and eats Mice, snakes, birds, bugs moles whatever it can catch. I love Dogs but there is nothing wrong with an outdoor cat. Inside cats not so much.
Also sorry for your loss HFN. I recently lost my 15 year old German Shorthair to old age. I hate the feeling of losing a pet. Hang in there. Time heals wounds.

No chance, Nate. Oscar is three for three (that I know of...we rescued him in march). He's 45 Lbs of pure cat-assassin. Fastest dog I've ever owned. Dude would absolutely crush "Charlie".

Sorry Norwalk. I ran a pet hospital for three years and have seen terrible pet suffering (cats and dogs) and owners that care about them. I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like you gave your pet a good life to rest knowing that.

I have dogs and cats, and each of them shows their love in their own way. I wouldn't have even given this thread hijack a second look if not for the fact that my cat of 11 years, who slept on my pillow every night for the last eight years, died in my arms just three hours ago after suffering from an ailment that the vet wasn't able to diagnose. So this thread struck a particular nerve with me and quite honestly has put me in a vile ******* mood. My cats never once stepped outside our house. One time there was a dog in my neighborhood that got loose and tried to rip through a screen window to get at one of my cats. The dogs owner showed up in the nick of time for if that dog had been there about 30 seconds longer it would have had a 9mm lodged in it's cranium. I love my pets with all my heart. Talking about the satisfaction you get by letting your dogs rip cats limb from limb makes me wonder if the same people tuck their dick between their legs.

Sorry about your cat Norwalk. I have both cats and a dog too and it bothered me that someone would think it's okay to have their dogs attack and kill them, ferrel or not.

anyone who thinks it is ok to kill another animal/pet/cat/dog is disgusting. period. that's my opinion. if you dont like it, talk to someone else about it.

Once again, I would counsel you to emphasize this to pet owners who let their animal(-s) out of house/yard to wander freely. It is the most irresponsible thing imaginable - it is the ultimate disservice to the pet, because it often leads to injury or death.
I didn't WANT my boy to kill the cats he killed; one of the incidents cost me $120 from the owner's vet. But the owner guy knew his cat had been let out to wander around the neighborhood...not the first time..., and he didn't try to give me any BS about what happened. I could have told him to stuff his vet bill because his cat was in my yard and my dogs acted like dogs, but I wrote him a check and told him I was sorry it turned out the way it did.

bad pet owners are responsible for a lot of things, just like bad parents. Regardless, if a pet is loose i dont want it to die. Maybe their owners, yeah, but I dont blame a pet just like I dont blame a child. Both innocent, neither needs to die because of stupid parents. done

To the cat owner who's pal died. Sorry to hear about your loss. I am not sure what my working dog would do to a cat but I know that if I ever had a burgler show up in the middle of the night my dog would probably lick him to death and then show him where the treats are.

P.S. Live on the edge of town but my dog is well known amoung the kids who live around..he is loved and LOVES when the kids come around. Not so sure about cats though..they are not welcome at all at my house as I despise them and Mrs. ozhawk hates em too. Doesn't mean your not hurting.

^I agree, unless the thing is rabid or attacking a human. Even then, there are some humans I'd probably rather get rid of first....

yep, humans are far worse than animals...dont even get me started. this ******* scum bag coach from penn state, i'd rather put him out of his misery than a cat that happens to be in someone's yard.
