A very fair summary and the author makes some great points.
ESPN is only bashing Iowa because it's an extension of their SEC bias. They need to prop up any of the SEC contenders as much as possible due to the financial impact for them with the SEC network ties. Follow the money.

If Stanford is a top 10 team with 1 loss...then the team they lost to must be pretty good.
Iowa beat that team 40-10 on their own field with a 3rd string RB, dinged up QB and their best rusher out for the year.

Its a very good article. if Wisky is the signature win, then so be it. Keep in mind that game was won on a goal line fumble, and that may be taking some of the luster off it. Given the crazy plays this season, Michigan punter, Miami return, Stanford winning on a missed chip shot FG, etc. they should quit bashing Iowa. It takes some luck to be undefeated and that is not exclusive to the Hawkeyes.
