45 Degrees and Rain

I had planned on going to this game before the season started but after the team dropped 4 turds .... nah.

I am sure a cold rain didn’t help much with that decision either?

Look for Nebby to stack the box against us.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Not at all looking forward to getting rained on but we'll be in the stands.

Merry Christmas to you

I think the 30 MPH winds had more to do with Stanley's bad game than the rain. Winds are forecast for the teens Friday.

I literally wouldn't bet one single dollar on who wins this one.
Hawks shook off three weeks of stank last week...Nebby showed some toughness beating Sparty, so go figure.
Bad weather always brings out the ultra-conservative play calling. ugh.
Likely gonna be a punt-fest.
Hope Rastetter eats his Wheaties Friday morning.

MSU has looked like crap the past two weeks. They got spanked at home against a struggling Ohio St team, plus, MSU has a bunch of injuries.

I said it favors a running QB. That doesn't mean it will favor Nebraska, necessarily. Stanley has been ass in bad weather games. Cold, rainy weather does not make throwing the ball easier. A running QB has an advantage over a non-running QB.
Unless you think it's easier to throw the ball in bad weather vs run the ball. You're entitled to that opinion.
The only times bad weather favors the passing game are either
-when the pass rush gets stuck in the mud or
-when the DB's can't keep their footing.

Both require extermely poor field conditions. Kinninck, despite any rain, should be in pretty good shape from a field conditions standpoint. Therefore, minor weather nuisances would favor running games and mobile QB's. The objective then, should be to get the early lead and keep Martinez off the field.

Latest forecast I've seen is for light rain coming in the late afternoon evening. 11 o'clock start tomorrow so we should be good until post game tailgate activities. Praying I'm celebrating and dishing out some pain to the Nebby fan neighbor who is partying in my tailgate. Otherwise, she is going to be non stop Cornhusker babble. Probably even put more Nebby trash in her yard. I have to look at that crap daily. Good God it's painful.

I know this is going to seem like a stupid question, considering the obvious...but, is she hot?

So are you starting your tailgating a day early or does the feasting begin at 11:00 tomorrow? Still only Wednesday. Got to get thru Turkey day before we get to game day.

After the jNW total offensive sh#t show I am not driving 5 hours round trip to probably sit in 40s degree weather and rain. I have done it more than a few times in Kinnick and it is not fun. I think 1984 when MSU upset the hawks it was right at 32 degrees with mix of rain, drizzle, and small ice pellets, the weather couldnt decide.

It was cold and miserable, a gigantic game, and if they had replay then Long would have been in for the TD as about 20 thousand hawk fans saw.

The current forecast for Iowa City on Friday is 100% rain starting at 11 AM thru rest of the day. My last year of season tickets after 44 years but I will enjoy it at home watching two of our grandsons.

Now I will only go to nice weather games probably mostly conference games

Oh, yeah. Cold rain, too.

I have to work on it so that’s a “NO” for me on having in it.

I read the same forecast but it also said rain totals of 1/4 inch. That's not much spread out over the day. I think the wind could be as much or more of a factor than the rain.
