Won't be fun unless Iowa is whooping nebraska.
Yeah I've been to high school games in inclement weather. When you are kicking butt you barely notice it's raining. When you're getting it kicked it's the most miserable experience in the world.Won't be fun unless Iowa is whooping nebraska.
That forecast favors a running QB. Unfortunately. I do NOT want to lose to those douche bags.
I said it favors a running QB. That doesn't mean it will favor Nebraska, necessarily. Stanley has been ass in bad weather games. Cold, rainy weather does not make throwing the ball easier. A running QB has an advantage over a non-running QB.I don’t see it favoring them. It makes it easier to key on keeping Martinez in the pocket. Force him to make tough throws in the conditions.
Maybe. But it will be difficult for him to make cuts. I see Iowa going ground and pound against the plaque-shirts and setting up Fant and Hock big time for play action. That forecast favors a running QB. Unfortunately. I do NOT want to lose to those douche bags.

Unless you think it's easier to throw the ball in bad weather vs run the ball. You're entitled to that opinion.
In theory, you are correct. When was the last time you saw a Parker defense get away from it's base formula? We'll see.Agreed that cold, rainy weather doesn't make throwing the ball easier. That was the point I was making though. We can focus more on his running ability to try and neutralize that aspect of his game and force him to throw more. I like our chances if we can force him to try and beat us through the air.
yep, and the best way to get a head cold a few days laterYeah I've been to high school games in inclement weather. When you are kicking butt you barely notice it's raining. When you're getting it kicked it's the most miserable experience in the world.
The key in either case is keeping feet dry. Do that and you have a fighting chance. Once the feet are soaked it's game over.
I had planned on going to this game before the season started but after the team dropped 4 turds .... nah.Won't be fun unless Iowa is whooping nebraska.
what are you gonna do, sit on your sofa and eat left over turkey meatloaf? Or turkey soup, turkey sandwich on white wonder bread and a slab on Velveeta cheese, turkey mashed potatoes, turkey egg rolls, turkey cheese dip, turkey nachos, turkey lasagna, turkey pot pie, turkey enchiladas!??!??I had planned on going to this game before the season started but after the team dropped 4 turds .... nah.
