Agreed. I was 27 at the time of Chris's death, already six yeas out of Iowa, but he definitely left an imprint on me. I don't think about him every day, but I will never forget him, if that makes any sense.
I did not hear about the accident until the next morning at work, and suffice it to say it ruined my day...week...month...
I still have VHS tapes that include the coverage afterward, from the funeral and the MSU game and the IU game @ CHA. I haven't watched them in almost 20 years. It'd be an emotional tidal wave, like the superb videos above that Spliff posted.
