I saw the video of his highlights. Of course, these are just a few select plays, but.... from what I saw he's a tenacious blocker! I love that!! Looks like he knows the game w/ a high football IQ I love the kid already!! He has ALOT of interest from other power 5 teams, but I feel good about landing him. He grew up a Hawkeye fan and knows the staff, and the program already. He could be made of the stuff that will continue the line of TE's to shine at Iowa. I think he's ours!! Looking forward to seeing him in Kinnick soon.

Love stealing good kids from Nebraska. We have had good luck on that front. Lord knows Frost is not shy about looking at Iowa kids.

Yeah, we've had pretty good success from young men from Neb. Now tho, we can pick and choose our TE prospects from around the entire country. Reminds me of Notre Dame when I was a sapling watching football every Saturday afternoon. Our offense is finally developing into what I always wanted to see as a young fan. I hope it continues to grow and blossom if/when we play again.

I like that he apparently grew up rooting for Iowa and has a deep connection with the staff. Seems like it could be a great fit.
