Sweeping a team is tough, even in the majors it's not all that common. There is no logical reason for the offense to take a nap on the 3rd game, it's generally the other teams 3rd starter so the offense should be easier.

It’s uncanny. Another weird trend...4 times in BIG series we have scored 9 or more runs. Each time we have lost the following day against the same team, averaging a little over 2 runs the day following the offensive outburst.
