It's an immediate uphill battle for a white walk on from small town Iowa with this program. Fans automatically put white walk ons from Iowa as no good.

He's terrible. Tackles are a tremendously over-rated stat. How many times did he get toasted in coverage? How many missed tackles or being out of position due to taking poor angles. No INTs, forced fumbles, pass break ups, TFLs(?)?

I don't think you watched the same game as everyone else did. 37 and 41 seem to have a weekly competition of "who can embarrass this team more". Granted, others throw their name in the hat too.

What? I believe he was number 1 on the depth chart starting in January. They almost made him a starter the year prior before going with Taylor. Turns out neither guy is any good.

I'm sure he knew it by then but when he got here last fall I'm sure he had no idea. Fleming's departure...Reuben Lile from a year ago...it's all these little things like transfers you don't think about until you watch the product on Saturday....and it's a product that need re-called including the makers (coaches) KF, GD and Phil Parker should all be on notice for horrendous coaching.

Yes the departures were true but the moment he stepped into a practice the 'good story' rumors and narrative started for him. It was only a matter of a short time before the coaches got him into the starting lineup. Not buying what you are selling at all.

Him being white has nothing to do with it! Snyder being less talented is the real factor.

Snyder is a significant downgrade from lomax last year, and to me this has really hurt Iowa. He makes a lot of tackles, but is still chronically overmatched.

Maybe we should have seen this coming last year when Iowa played a very injured player with limited mobility in Rose Bowl. There wasn't anyone else....
