That's the percentage of time Iowa trailed in the 4th quarter this year. I wish it was zero. Great game. Great year. Great team. Bring home another trophy, Hawks, this one with roses in it.

They did. But as much as last night hurt, I do think I'll eventually be able to live with it. The team left absolutely everything out on the field and Michigan State was just slightly better. If Scott plays it safe and doesn't reach out, everything comes down to fourth and goal at the 1. The defense really put on a pretty heroic effort after Cook's first down, summoning up the last bit of will they had left for hopefully four more plays.

It sucks, but I'd rather go down in a game like that knowing that MSU was simply the slightly better team, than blowing a huge opportunity to take the next leap forward as a program because Wisconsin tricked us with a fake punt.
