3 Hawkeyes in the top 50 in Evan Miya's top 500 players

Interesting that Iowa has 3 players in the top 50 of this metric, which is gauging which CBB players are projected as far as impact, measured by Bayesian Performance Rating. BPR predicts future player value through box stats, on-court play-by-play impact, and historical info.

very interesting who # 49 is.
After reading this and seeing that Perkins is like 186 or close and Connor is 49 tells me this metric is pretty well garbage.

I would not say it is garbage. If you look at the Top 50 it is generally guys you have heard of playing for Top programs. So, it facially seems to be hitting some correct marks.

Regarding Connor, he does everything on the court at + or ++ level. Great on defense, best assist man in the game, good rebounder, and even though he does not score much, he also does not have a bad percentage. He just doesn't shoot much and he almost never takes a bad shot (ugly shot, yes, but not a bad decision on when to shoot).

I think Perkins will continue to ascend this list, and 186 in the country aint shabby. If we are fair, Perkins does everything pretty well, but nothing elite (yet). His ranking seems fair.

Patrick is a bit of surprise that high, but he does do a lot of good things on the floor. His biggest weaknesses are finishing at the rim and consistent defense. But, his length causes issues for other teams on both ends.

This is going to be a good Hawk squad. Fun to watch.

I understand. Let me help you then.

If you actually click through to that guy's web page https://evanmiya.com/ and go to player rankings, Connor doesn't show up until #120.
