The problem is….and this is a new America phenomenon over the last 15 years……that you are using faulty logic to attain your even poorer assumptions. Therefore YOU cause your own grief….and end up making yourself “look†like the one who takes it too seriously. Your case is like many I see all the time. If you self evaluated you’d be able to see and fix your approach and would get less of this unfortunate criticism……….

I agree. Everyone is so down because we lost a guy that while he has a lot of potential never played. Honestly if the guy was that great he would have been playing from the start. To look at the success some of the past players have had making a position change and not stick it out tells me a lot about the guy. With his skill sets it seems he could have been a potential fit at a variety of positions. All I can say is good luck and have a nice career somewhere else.

the D-L recruits leaving may have been solved by Coach Kaz leaving, as evedent by Raymon stating he was not a fan of Coach Kaz. the leaving of McCall can be written off as the action of a kid that felt he deserved more than what he got. Coker left because of reasons that we will never know, but i feel that he left because he felt betrayed by the University of getting expelled for something he did not do.

Such a statment by definition contains zero truth and logic. zero.
Every player has an effect on the team, thats just common sense.
What makes it really absurd is that Derby is a four star athlete who could have started at multiple positions and would have been an upgrade at every one.

We don't know what Derby's impact would have been on defense next year. I know many fans were ready to label him All Big 10 on defense but we don't even know how often he would have seen the field next year on defense. If AJ did not want to be on the defensive side of the ball then so be it. He is moving on ... and good luck to him ... The University of Iowa football team will also move on ...
LOL! And you know this how? Seems to me the one position he wasn't an upgrade at is the one he has his heart set on playing. And please rattle off all those positions he would be an upgrade at, I'll hang up and listen to your answer........
