Houghtlin splits the uprights, #1 Iowa 12, #2 Michigan 10!

I was 10 years old, standing next to my dad on the bleachers in Section B Row 44 Seat 6 at Kinnick.

Will never forget that moment as long as I live!

I was 8, barely knew the Hawks existed, and probably spend the whole day playing outside

I was at home. It was snowy as I recall. Watching it with my buddy who I still tailgate with.

My dad and brother were at the game right on the yard line where Houghtlin kicked it.

I remember it well. Sitting in the student section in Kinnick where the magic unfolded right before our very eyes. Something I'll never forget.

21 years old in the north end zone. Watch the kid go through and was literally pushed on to the field for the celebration. It was awesome! God bless Hayden Fry...so many good memories.

Awesome day to be a HAWK! I remember the DMS Register's cartoonist drawing a cool piece, "The Irresistable Force vs. The Immovable Object", with both the teams helmets facing one another.

During the kick, I can also remember watching the ball sail through the goalposts and what seemed like a giant earthquake shaking the picture during the celebration afterwards!

Go Hawks! One game at a time!

I was 10 and sitting on the stairs in the hallway listening and barely in tv sight as I was too nervous to see it. I will never forget that day...
