20th in revenue

I noticed our expenses were higher than the revenue line. Lesbian payments? Someone should walk over to the Tippie School of Business an see if that's good.

There is an article on Go Iowa Awesome that will explain it to you. If you really think something is wrong, you should read it.
I understand economics. Just stating Iowa was only one of two schools in the top 20 that was in the red on the chart.

During a year where they are doing a huge stadium renovation? What's the problem?

Edit- Its not the new renovations, it's all the old ones they did. Would you rather them have a bunch of money in the bank and dated facilities?

Wow.
Again, I was just pointing out almost all the schools were in the black. Nothing more, nothing less. Calm down. FYI- other schools also experience large expenses too.

I'm not mad or anything, It's just that your post came off like you thought they did something wrong. In fact your posts are still coming off like you think they did something wrong.

But the majority of the universities are turning a profit. But yes, I got your point BigL.

Actually, take away all the subsidies, and they're not. They shouldn't even need the subsidies with the corporate sports dollars. But then entitlement syndrome isn't just reserved for the poor. Just ask the coaches & administrators, including the ones who recently got millions after suing the University.

Please explain these "subsidies" that you are talking about? As far as I understood the Athletic department was completely self funded.
