2018 Football Bold Predictions

Since we are now coming down the stretch to the football season I thought it would be fun to throw out some "bold predictions". Here are 3 of mine.

1) Amani Jones is 3rd team All-B1G so the drop off form Josey is there, but not significant.
2) IKM goes for over 1000 total yards from scrimmage even while splitting duties with Young and Sargent.
3) Julius Brents is a starter at CB by mid season

What are your Bold Predictions?

Stanley 3000 yds, 30 tds, 8 Int
Amani Jones is top 10 in the nation in tackles.
Iowa offense jumps to top 50.

I'll add some specificity to those 3000 yards. While last year we did not have a single receiver over 600 yards, I think this year we will have 3 (Fant, ISM, Easley). I think B. Smith and Hockenson top 300 yards, and I think we get at least 300 combined receiving yards from our RB trio.

--One of our punters "booms" a 40-plus yarder
--Rastetter retains his 1.000 completion percentage
--@tksirius calls KF on the carpet before game one is over and/or references BF/Section 8 housing

I've got another bold prediction...Michigan may actually live up to expectations. Never mind. Still not ready to make that bold of a statement.

We have a 1,000 yard back, even with spreading carries among 3 backs who all do well. (Should make next year's back conversation really interesting)
We beat Wisconsin.
Nate is 2nd in b10 qb's, but just barely.

Bonus round prediction.
Another qb, sees significant reps this year in mop up duty. As do lb and db's.

I'd love to see Mansel get some decent playing time and start the "QB controversy" that every team dreams of with the backup being better than the starter. IF so, were in a good place.

I'm not saying a back up is going to start a controversy. Not willing to go that far.
I am just saying KOK and BF are going to try and start bringing someone else up a little. Advance them a little. (Who knows, maybe a couple of them).
Parker has some talent that I think he wants to see in real time as well.

Truthfully, I'd love to see backups get enough playing time to fuel a controversy.
