2016 Recruit, 4 * Post Player Nick Rakocevic Visiting

We need to bring in the next Seth Tuttle. We should only recruit Iowa kids that have MVC offers. That is how you build a program!








Obviously just kidding on this.....would love to see him become a Hawk!
 
He's a very skilled 6'10" 2016 player. Many big time schools are after him. I've seen him play 4 times this year and his game at this point is similar to Kaminsky's at same age. I think he is better offensively than Frank at this stage. Very good shooter. Not sure why the highlight video doesn't show more of that.
St. joe's has two other D1 guys on the team (Ashe - Northwestern and Watson -Nebraska).

He he does seem to be a bit of a selfish head case. Maybe not enough basketballs to go around. He was benched for the rest of the game in 2nd quarter in big game vs. Hinsdale Central.

imagine having 3 Big Ten upperclassmen recruits on your high school team and not being ranked in the top 10 in the state....

Lots of great players in Chicago area. I. Moss only made 4th team all Public League. He did hit 4 threes in 2nd half in biggest game of the year vs. then #1 Stevenson. He is built and has game that resembles Jok's.

Oh yes, Seth Tuttle would have been such 'a reach'. Getting the Top 5 player in the country in 2015, would have been just horrible.

As I recall, 'some Posters/fans' were quite EXCITED about the 'Major' signings of Kyle Meyer and Tray Dickinson................

Back to topic at hand... Any word on how the visit went? He certainly picked a good day for it. Carver was rocking and the top 2 scorers being honored.

I hope that Fran gets the guys he wants most. So I wanted Ulis the most, then LaChance, then Trey. When you get down to your third choice like a Trey or a Tuttle it is a crap shoot, some work out, but not many.

It is good to know that you would rather have Tuttle over White. I prefer White myself, but since all you talk about is Tuttle and that was the scholarship White took, you must prefer Tuttle. Too bad really that you prefer UNI kids over Great Hawkeye players.
 
Has McCaffery kissed and made up with Gene Pingatore after the Lickliter debacle? I thought he said none of his players would ever go to Iowa after the way he felt Tony Freeman was treated.

Tuttle would have been a gigantic reach, I'm glad Fran isn't bringing in no star recruits from small *** Iowa towns. Tuttle is not a top five player in the country, he would be a rotation guy but far from a star if he played in a real conference.

Exactly. He's turned into a very nice player, but there was absolutely no reason to offer him a scholarship out of high school. Sure he's from Iowa but he wasn't getting any sniffs from major conference schools.
 
Hey HawkIstate, do you really not understand that sometimes players can improve a ton after high school and there is no way anyone could ever see that type of improvement coming?

Gotta give Fairfax a little credit here... His impact on the board has recruiting threads without his comment to a continuous debate about Seth Tuttle.
