2014 MBB Recruiting...

In one game that I found, Ellingson shot 10-11 from the line. Good enough for me.

LOL we do need shooters with other skills

Fran's team plays good defense, gets off lots of shots and FTs, and rebounds, can you imagine if they could shoot better

Reading his bio, though, it also says he shoots well from behind the arc AND can score off the dribble, which is a combo I'd like to see, especially in our motion offense to get the defense to collapse.

Will be a disaster? It already is.

33, I get the impression you're stirring the pot on purpose. Okay, hope you enjoy it. Uhl will be a stud for this team. I'm just glad that I won't ever consider taking the time to dredge up this thread to say "I told you so."

Anyway, my take on how Fran is approaching the last two scholly's is waiting to see what kind of a run we might make in the NCAA tourney and; hopefully, use some really positive momentum to reach out to a higher tiered talent. Just my opinion, but why not?

Center and pg are this team's needs that need to be addressed with the 2014 or 2015 class imo. Gesell, Clemmons, Woody, and Gabe will all be upperclassmen next year and nobody currently coming in to fill their spots as of yet. That is unless Meyer surprises and starts to contribute.

33 is definitely getting snarky lately.

this year's class can afford to be a "meh" class. next year better be really good though.

My thoughts as well. Plenty of depth for next year especially at the off guard and foreward positions. If nobody else is brought in for the 2014 class, which is looking likely, a 2012esque class is what I would be thinking. By that I mean a well rated pg and center that can come off the bench behind Woody and Gesell for a year before getting their shot as starters.

Agreed. With the two currently signed, we've got the next in line for White/Uthoff and Oglesby. Fran has time to be selective, so why not be? And it wouldn't be the end of the world to have 4 scholly's to give in '15.

isn't that pretty much a standard bio of good high school perimeter players? A lot of them are playing against 5'7" or 5'8" perimeter players.
