So what does ISU beating Iowa in 3 OT's and losing badly in the Big 12 have to do with beating Iowa NEXT YEAR in Kinnick? Remember what Iowa did to PSU last year in Kinnick, yeah how did that turn out this year?

Part of the Penn State loss was on the coaching staff and their conservative approach with the offense. Iowa was in the game until the 4th quarter and may have been ahead if for some more aggressive play calling and more no huddle looks earlier in the game.

Next year Iowa will have two teams back to back who really want to beat the Hawks, and if it doesn't make their year by beating Iowa it will sure be close to that.

As we found out in 2009, if Iowa does not win by a significant margin against UNI this will hurt Iowa's national perception and be labelled as not a very good team. If Iowa losses to UNI then watch out for the national fallout.

The nightmare scenario would be if Iowa loses to Iowa State and to UNI. Ths is NOT an impossible scenario.
