Dom Alvis will be ready to roll at the start of the season. Hoping for a good/healthy season for him!
dom alvis wont be 100% until nrxt fall.
His knee will not be close to 100%. An ACL is a 12-18 month recovery period to get back to pre injury condition.
The knee can structurally be 100% and ready for football in as little as six months. It takes 12 mos minimim, and usually.closer to 18 to regain the strength and explosion you had prior to the injury.
ACLs have a 12-18 month recovery period end of story.
Alvis is nowhere near 100%.
BTW, u think the NCAA will sanction PSU?

Greenway tore his ACL in spring practice in March, and was playing in October when he was a redshirt frosh. He looked as good as ever in 6 months....not an exact science.
"BJ Lowery may prove to be Iowas best pure cornerback of the Ferentz era"Chalk this up to 'that would be great if you are right,' but where is this coming from? He has barely been on the field. It could be that he in fact has great potential, etc., etc., but these observations are based on his game film, team sources? Honest question b/c I've seen this said about him on more than one occassion.
