You do realize the Big Ten schedule came out a month ago and Iowa didn't have a say in how many home games they were going to have in the first half of the season.

Yes I get that, just saying thats a lot of home games to start out. First road game will be a b#@$#

I see your concern, but it looks to me like a better chance to keep the games in potentially warmer weather (for us the fans). Still 4BT home, 4 BT away and travel in the case of game 1. And tell me that date on Nov 24th isn't going to be a great ticket to have?

it what most fans consider to be a "down" year for the hawks considering our losses in personnel; assuming every team we play stays the same talent level and we have penn state & nebby at home, this could be a very good year and will go in to the bye week undefeated. and maybe show up in the Big House undefeated.

another way to look at it is that, they are at home for 2 of their last 3 games, including the last game.

While there are 7 true home games, the game in Chicago will likely be a pro Iowa crowd (75/25 split).
