Were they guesselling on how to spell Gesell's name......lol. With Fran's ability to pick a diamond out of the rough I would not be one bit surprised if we see another player stand out in this new class coming in. I can't wait for the season to start..... Must be an echo on this forum as it seems I have read the same sentiments several times already. Let's hope the football team can continue to improve so the wait we be more tolerable.
 


We could be 3-0 and look like world beaters and bball season still couldnt get here fast enough.
 




Can you imagine the excitement next season if Jok comes on board and he is back to his original form his senior year in high school? Then throw in Uthoff being eligible to play with Marble, McCabe, and Basabe being seniors, White being a junior, and our our power freshmen class having a year under their belt, Iowa City will be rocking and rolling during basketball season. It should be some thing very special.
 


Iowa City will be rocking and rolling regardless if Jok decides the Hawks or not. Fans have been craving good basketball for too long.

You were a year late to the party. The instant Iowa upset Purdue, I was ready for the years upcoming. Its taken a loooooong time to get to this point, but it'll be a fun year.

I was at that game. One of the best Iowa games I have EVER been to. One of the best I have ever seen, period. In fact, it beats, or is up there, with all of the best all-time victories. I am sure there are more games that beats it. But at the moment, only Iowa's come back against MSU, the first game after Chris Streets passing, is beating that game in Hawkeye lore....IMO
