2011 Final: How Former Hawkeyes Fared in NFL

Sad thing about Kampman, from an all-pro type of season ago to a good chance of being done now.

It is a bummer..and the harsh reality of this sport...I am always amazed how any player in the trenches can last as long as he has (9 years) or how long Casey has lasted, 175 straight starts.

Forget the number of games, how about the 10,000 consecutive snaps. Dude hasn't missed a play in over ten years. Brett Favre can suck it.

Is Sanders officially done. I noticed you said "was" in the NFL for 8 years.

Spoke to a couple of NFL personnel guys about Adrian Clayborn and the sense is he's been a big success for the Bucs. He was a bright spot for a team that fell apart down the stretch. He improved his game a lot as a rookie and became a pretty consistent player in both phases. He still needs to improve his pass rush variety and add some more counter moves but he's got all the makings for a long productive career.

Really impressed by the season Karl Klug had. Got his 7 sacks mostly the same way he did at Iowa: Tough, smart and relentless play. He played sparingly and was mostly a situational pass rusher. About as good as you'll get for a 5th round pick.
