I realize that maybe Iowa is a little down this year in the B10, if winning the league means your down, but has the league ever been more competative? A lot of strong individuals across the brackets. A little concerned about the Hawks staying on top. That being said, I have faith that TB will have them wrestling hard.

Ok, help me out with the scoring is it better to have a bye. Do you get team points with a bye. Or is like DSJ bracket better for the team ???

as long as you win your match after the bye you get the advancement points for it. But you do lose the opportunity to get bonus points.

No team points for a bye unless you win your next match, so for everyone that has a bye they need to win their quarterfinal match to get 2 additional advancement points. The big thing with a bye is you don't have the opportunity to get bonus points that someone like McD, Ramos or DSJ could have gotten without the bye.

They seed the 8 guys then randomly draw in the others.

So by my count we have four wrestling in the first round. Ballweg, St. John and both Lofthouse's.

I think we send 6 to the finals. McDonough, Ramos, Marion, St. John, L. Lofthouse and Rasing.
