I agree to an extent. I still think Iowa/Purdue in 2002 was the most overall exciting game. This game wasn't really exciting until the end.
Iowa was dominating and then the D-line got winded and all looked lost. That really sucked because we had been hammering the drunk LSU fans in front of us the whole game. Then the miracle play. Still can feel it. No play will ever match that in my book, and I went to Cal for undergraduate.
Iowa vs. Purdue was just so back and forth and there were so many big plays and then that floater to Clark seemed to take as long as Tate's pass to come down.
And something we often forget, that game wasn't over after that catch.
