This was definately one of my favorite games. I rode out on the platform as Herky before the game started and planted the flag in the 50 yard line and parade around for the 4th quarter. Man, the crowd was into it that game....after the 2nd quarter started of course.

I was at the Cubs-Braves playoff game at Wrigley when this was played. We watched the first quarter at a Wrigleyville watering hole and watched as went down 14-0 early. I remember the cell service sucked at the ballpark but loved getting the voicemail updates from Kinnick. Seems like a long time ago now. Effing Cubs!

Remember being the "bullies" of the big10... That defense was tough as nails, not to mention our OL was full of big uglys. What a good group of guys on both sides of the ball wish Freddy woulda stayed another year too.
