99.9% of QB in NCAA with the experience that Stanley has and or a smart coaching staff calls timeout in that situation!!! That was a complete meltdown by all in CHARGE.. UNBELIEVABLE...
Why we didn’t just run the ball in the first place the way Nate had played all day is beyond me..

That wasn’t Stanley’s only major F up. Not by a long shot.99.9% of QB in NCAA with the experience that Stanley has and or a smart coaching staff calls timeout in that situation!!! That was a complete meltdown by all in CHARGE.. UNBELIEVABLE...
He’s certainly unsettled in big road environments...Wisky, NW, MSU, PSU. Pretty effective at home for the most part...That wasn’t Stanley’s only major F up. Not by a long shot.
He had several unexcusable meltdowns. The kid is a horrible quarterback more often than he’s a good one. Especially in must win games

CJ, Stanzi, Tate, or Banks wouldn’t have made a single one of the boneheaded plays Stanley did tonight, home or away. He’s certainly unsettled in big road environments...Wisky, NW, MSU, PSU. Pretty effective at home for the most part...
Physical tools better? Absolutely. Mental tools/moxie? Not by a long shot.CJ, Stanzi, Tate, or Banks wouldn’t have made a single one of the boneheaded plays Stanley did tonight, home or away.
I say that because people are out there saying he’s better than these guys. Not even close to being true.
A middle school QB would know not to run a Chinese fire drill in that situation, but then again a middle school QB would have completed some of those passes. The play was there. Nobody was set but even if ONLY Noah Fant is Young walks in for a TD. Good playcall, horrible execution/click management.
No argument there, but it ain't black and white. At the risk of sounding like a whiner, it should have been an illegal procedure penalty, AND KF was on the field trying to call timeout. Shit happens tho.A middle school QB would know not to run a Chinese fire drill in that situation, but then again a middle school QB would have completed some of those passes.
I was thinking about this and remember Stanzi was known as "Rick 6" for his junior(?) season. Were they boneheaded plays, predictable routes that were jumped, tipped balls, some of each? Just don't remember, but was thinking about this as the game went on today. Rick always seemed to come back from them, though.CJ, Stanzi, Tate, or Banks wouldn’t have made a single one of the boneheaded plays Stanley did tonight, home or away.
