Didn't see this posted already, but the UNI, Ball State, and ISU game times have been announced:

UNI 11am
Ball State 2:30pm
ISU 2:30pm

http://www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/071614aad.html

BTN will televise the Northern Iowa contest, while ESPN2 will televise the Ball State game. The annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Trophy game will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

That Ball State one is rather surprising, at least to me. I thought maybe UNI had a chance to be 2:30, but Ball State?

Good news for those who prefer later starts.

The networks are a pretty good result, BSU on ESPN2 at 2:30 is a little surprising, ISU on ABC at 2:30 is a little surprising.

Hopefully a great start to a great season.

Will someone be kind enough to explain where ABC or ESPN are located on the TV guide to our cyclone friends. They are not used to stations that are not mandated to them by their boss Texas . Or of course pay per view crappy internet coverage

Speak for yourself bud I work second shift and most Saturdays. :(

Bleah....2:30 home games suck. Better than night games, but nowhere near as good as 11:00. 2:30 starts pretty much kill the day for watching much of any other college football games.

I'm very happy to see two 230 starts. I don't mind some 11am but it severely cuts into tailgating.

Wow, I am only the fifth post in this thread. This site is on life support.

How anyone can hate a night game is beyond comprehension. Last game I went to was a night game and it was awesome. I road shotgun from IC to Walcott with my head out the window on the verge of vomiting from the all the straight Cap'n Morgan I was drinking straight out of my flask all game. Needless to say I needed it as it was the game Terrell "too tough to tackle" Pryor made his miraculous run against our vaunted D on 4th and long. I was so drunk after the game I told my brother "expect to lose next week against Minnesota" My drunkin prediction proved correct and it was the worst season versus expectations in Ferentz entire era at Iowa.

Point being, I wouldn't have likely been this drunk at an 11AM game to make this bold prediction.

Pro's and con's to all start times.

Hell folks, it's Kinnick. It's Iowa. Only 7 times a year at home. Enjoy.

^^ well said Seth. ^^

The rest of us who live out of state would gladly take your seat, any day.

I dedicate every Saturday in the fall to Iowa football. The more time I can spend tailgating the better. Night games are the best as I can spend an entire day tailgating. Doesn't get much better than that.
