Some reference:
The 1973 team had gone 0-11.
The 1974 team shown here lost their first game vs Michigan.
Thus, this game/win broke a 12-game losing streak.
This was Bob Commings' first year as head coach.

Jim Zabel at his finest, going bonkers with each good Iowa play. Randy Duncan was the color analyst.
Listen to the crowd cheering wildly everytime Iowa made a first down!

A week later I went to my first Kinnick game vs PSU.
We lost 27-0 but it was fun! I was a sophomore in HS.
