I think if Cali or Kennedy can go to 157 next year, and the other start at 165, They start getting into shape right now and focus hard for one year. That lets Arnold focus hard at 174, which he also needs to do right now. That leaves Ferreri to stay at 184 and not try to bump up to 197.

Arnold is on the outside looking in, highly doubt he wrestles here again. 174 is PK’s and Arnold isn’t cutting all the way to 156. That’s just not going to happen; he’s said himself it’s too much of a cut for him and PK definitely isn’t going to cut to there. Dropping big weight like that (for either of those guys, not just GA) never works out well, you just end up with a bunch of Kaleb Youngs who can’t ever break through because they can’t get max performance out of their bodies. It’s like those times when you get sick and drop 10-15 pounds, you feel gassed and weak all the time. Trying to be an elite athlete after that is beating your head against a brick wall.
It’s time for people to give up the Gabe hype and come to grips that the kid doesn’t have it. only way this team is going to break out of that 4th/5th place spot is to go all in in the portal and start getting some 57-84 wrestlers. Arnold and PK ain’t cutting the mustard.
