I will add this also; If I had to chose between either coach I would chose Hayden. He rebuilt the Hawkeyes from the gutter and created the logo, uniform scheme, and Iowa brand. Kirk being the quality person that he is would totally agree.

You have to consider that ISU, WI, NW etc used to be doormats and auto wins for Fry. Iowa beat what most consider to be the MAC favorite 33-7 without 3 or 4 starters out? I feel like that isn’t enough to get this boards respect

Teams don't stay static. Wisconsin used Iowa assistants to rebuild their program in Iowa's image. Northwestern improved their recruiting and won three B10 titles. For five years, NW was the class of the B10. They even have an outright title, something Ferentz doesn't have. I think we should absolutely be celebrating 144 victories for our school. In 2012 I wasn't sure he'd get here. Now he's at the top of the mountain.

My favorite victory is Michigan 03. That game was amazing, and Ochoa scoring the winning TD was just magic.

I'd go with 2002 Michigan. We hadn't beaten them for a dog's age, and then we go into Ann Arbor and absolutely bitch-slap them. Glorious!
