13-10

Don't forget the fact that Wisky will be playing angry after losing two in a row.
We're on the road.
Against a ranked team that has just owned us in recent years.
With our weak BF-Offense...and without our #1 receiver.
...there's always a puncher's chance, but I put our odds of grinding out a win in Madison at maybe 10%

Hope for the best and have plenty of Crown on-hand.
GO HAWKS!
HyVee in my town had fifths of Crown on sale for $20.99 yesterday.

Obviously Bessie takes priority and needs to be milked early, along with the rest of their cheerleaders.

As for the cows, they can wait.

Worked on a dairy farm in my youngster days and those folks are dedicated and that is work. Not like the grain farming now where the machines drive themselves and they wipe out 100s of acres in a day planting or harvesting. Gotta milk em two times a day every day of the year.

You're preaching to the choir my man. My wife grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm. They kept milking operations going until 2004 at which point my in laws retired, with much of their hearing lost. I would occasionally lend a hand in time of need, enough to know that it's hard work and cows don't wait.

I went to high school with plenty of kids who would knock out two hours of farm chores BEFORE school, and more in the evening and on weekends. I remember the mad scramble for any available milking help in 1997 and 1998 when the Packers played in the Super Bowl. Those cows weren't around during the thirty year Super Bowl drought and they weren't about to wait for Mike Holmgren and Brett Favre.

All three of my kids were involved in 4-H, showing cows and pigs at the county fair, cleaning pigpens, getting their hands dirty and their boots muddy, if not shitty.

I have a tremendous respect for the agricultural business. Go back and look at my post. I was making light of the (typically out of shape) badger fan during badger week and nothing else. Like dozens of others have done here over the years.
