It you watched a lot of football yesterday, you would notice that virtually every team sends blitzes from all over the place, especially in 3rd and long situations. The good teams do not let average quarterbacks stand back there forever under a three man rush (see the Iowa Game). Iowa makes average quarterbacks look like All Americans. My God, take one of our plodding linebackers out and put in a speed rusher in passing situations.

Our blitzes, like our offense, is so SLOW developing and predictable that they rarely shorten the QB's clock in the pocket. Our ends are just pathetic. No pressure and can't set the edge. Jaleel must've contacted Carl Davis and gotten some good advice on how to play to not get hurt your Sr year. I thought he would be dominant this year. Instead he's just another gigantic disappointment on a long list of many.
