That was pretty much the high point of Jake's tenure at Iowa.

The enduring image from that game that I will never forget is Tom Busch wide open in the flat on 3rd-and-1, standing only a handful of feet away from Jake, who promptly put the ball into about the 5th row.

Quite possibly the worst throw I've ever seen in the history of Iowa football.

OK4P, while you were typing this post, Dan Persa completed another 3rd down slant pass for a first down against our BBDB defense.

::sigh::

OK4P, your hit ratio is stellar. Five responses to your post (mine doesn't count - I'm the judge), with three fish in the cooler. Babe Winkelman bows to you.

OK4P, did you end up buying season tickets at Ryan Field? I humbly suggest the corner end zone seats, about 40 rows back. You can't actually see the field, and that's a good thing. Furthermore, the 4 porta-potties that service 1/2 of the stadium are located nearby. These are prime seats. You can't afford not to get them. Go Willy Wildcat.

I remember that throw. Do you remember how JC used to always throw the ball at the feet of receivers that were only 3-4 yards away from him? I still cannot figure that out.
