That was a game of big plays. I was driving cross-country that day and had just passed through Indianapolis heading west on I-74 when we pulled that one out. I could almost hear the collective groans of Purdue fans all across the state.

Observations:

Quick release QB.

Players seemed to be passionate.

Throws to TE.

Nice holding during the interception TD near the goal line. Never noticed back then.

That was an emotional roller coaster of a game. Purdue looked like they were gonna roll early, then the Clark 90 yard touchdown and we're up 10, looks like we're gonna pull away, then we score the TD in the last 2 minutes, we think we're going to win until Purdue drives towards a game tying field goal. Looks like we're going to OT, until they throw a pick and we win.
