I'm not saying he's purposely trying to tank by sending a bad QB out there, but I do think he's pretty much decided he's going to ride McNamara out the rest of the season no matter what happens, good or bad. We aren't going to see Sullivan unless CM is hurt, Hawks are losing with the game out of reach, or maybe his goofy little goal line packages.
Which is only hurting Iowa going forward because Sullivan is the guy next year unless they find a unicorn in the portal, and having 2/3rds of a season starting experience would do nothing but benefit the Hawks.
McNamara is the proverbial, and literal, lame duck.
