Stuelke 3rd foul.
Hell yeah.
Don’t kid yourself. It’s the physicality of the southern teams that gives them the advantage. The lame rules of women’s basketball gives the bigger teams a huge advantage as the smaller teams count on officials to call fouls to give them hope. You heard the announcers say that physical contact is ok as long as it doesn’t affect the play.
So thuggery is ok as long as it doesn’t affect the play. Duh. You can beat down a team physically and not get called for fouls. This is why the pro level of women’s basketball hasn’t taken off. Who wants to see this clumsy athletic behavior at a pro-level. It is so high school like.
Both LSU and South Carolina have this blatant foul infested type of basketball. The WNBA is going no where until they stop this stupid shit.
Salt Lake City at one time had a WNBA team but it didn’t work.
Cait has been a huge draw to the sport because she brings to the game the finesse that lacking in the game in general. There are other players that have that same skill but if the sport doesn’t start calling fouls it will never be popular enough to become a major sport that is followed by large crowd size. The average salary of $25,000 speaks for itself.
Calling Syd Affolter. Syd? Syd? Syd? Need ya Syd!All my ragging on CC ... she's not getting nearly the help she needs from the rest. Way too many missed bunnies.
Nope!Don’t kid yourself.
The reason the salaries are $25k is because women’s basketball is terrible regardless of north/south ncaa/WNBA. Flame me if you want, but it’s true. The highest level of women’s basketball is clumsy and unauthentic compared to even average high school boys basketball.
There can be excitement and good storylines, but don’t kid yourself that it’s anything people want to watch on a big scale. If it was good basketball people would want to watch.
