Respectfully disagree since ISU had 4 New starters and a key bench player that is new.ISU is looking at a special year and a deep run in the tourney if the injury bug doesn't strike again.
Don't you mean to say that Iowa outscored ISU by 7 in the first half and ISU outscored Iowa by 10 in the 2nd half for the win........while Iowa had everyone back and ISU Started 4 different players from last year's matchup.
Hate to burst your bubble, but ISU is the better team and proved it. Keep in mind that ISU has 3 New starters this year while Iowa has nearly everyone back.
No similarities whatsoever....PC was a head coach in the NFL and won a title and competed for titles at USC. No pro teams in their right mind see KF in that way.
Zero chance! It could never be sold to the fanbase. The NFL is constantly changing and KF has been gone from the league for quite some time. Do you actually think there is an NFL franchise that will give KF $5M/yr for 5 yrs to coach? If you believe that, I have a oceanfront property in Arizona...
Greg Schiano took a morbid Rutgers program and turned them into a winner. He is 46 years old with great energy, and brings a new look to the NFL. Do any of these characteristics apply to KF?........NO!
It will be difficult when taking into account that these kids go to school, study, take finals, etc. it will open a whole new set of challenges concerning payment for athletes, tax exempt status, to just name a few.
He recently lost his mother to Alzheimer's . He is close with his dad and grew up in central Ia. He said in an interview that he told his wife that he was not going to be coaching in 20 years. He would be retired and traveling. 20 years would put him in his mid 60s. Vogs, you don't want to wager...
It might, but he has family in central Ia. When his dad passes, anything is possible. One thing that Rhoads mentioned was that he would not be coaching into his 60s. He will be traveling with his wife.
