Green is a tough match up for DSJ, but he's susceptible to losing to "lesser" wrestlers because he gasses late in the match. Hopefully DSJ places higher at B1Gs so Green and Dieringer are on the other side of the bracket at NCAAs.

If wrestling were like basketball it would suck. Different sports, different standards. Wrestling is obviously a more physical and intimate sport.

I think the only way Iowa wins this year is: 1) wrestle above expectations, AND 2) Penn State has awful luck with injuries like Iowa did last year.

Yes, Ruth returns to the big stage this weekend against Ohio State. He will wrestle. Also, BTN is scheduled to cover the meet...but they were also scheduled to show the Buffalo dual on BTDN and we all know how that turned out.

Sorenson will be at 149...and hopefully he's the answer.

Supposedly it will be in STL in 2015 and NYC in 2016. We'll see what the future holds for 2017-18 tomorrow.

It's fun to speculate, but I have a hard time getting worked up over pre-season rankings. Glad to see the Hawks with a chance to unseat Penn State (at least before you factor in bonus points). The Hawks will have to meet/exceed these projections and hope for a little help from Penn State...
