There's a lot of strong points in here about improvement. Just adding depth alone is going to make Iowa a tougher out next year. As mentioned above, losing to SD State and teams of that ilk are probably over. With the added depth and player development (Basabe, Cartright, Marble) and Gatens...

I find this quite peculiar as well. I mean...what could it be? Style of play too aggressive for Cully? Too hard on his back maybe? Perhaps there has been a development in the recruitment of another PG and he is seeing the writing on the wall? Definitely a surprise here!

this guy needs more time at a lower level program. Seems like a great guy but running a major college program??? Don't think he's quite ready. I think the Butler guy is more polished. He may not be ready yet either. Lotta pressure in MAJOR college coaching.
