It’s been about 40 years since I played any organized basketball (and I wasn’t very good then), but wouldn’t a 1-3-1 zone help cover the openings we leave at the wings and the free throw line? Seems like we play some kind of a 1-2-2 that leaves both those spots open. Thoughts?

I don't get the issue about lack of playing time for players. I bet if any of them would show any effort to play defense, there would be plenty of playing time for them. I think that's why Sapp played so much.

Maybe we don't care, but where do you think Lick ends up? I'd say he takes some time off to get healthy and then goes the mid-major route again. I don't think a major program would take a chance on him with the baggage he has from this mess.
