I’ve got kids current playing AAU ball. The teams that play as a team are good and win. The solo stuff teams don’t. I think AAU games effect officiating a lot - you can’t call 30 fouls in a game, because there might be 10 more games scheduled on your court that day.

I think what happened is what was meant to happen. If he truly wasn’t down for doing what the Iowa staff expects, he probably would have had a bad time in IC and probably quit or transferred anyway. He got a ton of NIL and won a ton of games at Bama and likely will still be a 2nd round draft...

I think he’ll be fine living with the consequences of making a ton of money while playing for a team that has won 31 games so far in 3 years.
