So this is some guy completely off the radar that nobody else has ever mentioned.

I don't mean the person giving you the tip. Obviously you wouldn't compromise them. Who is the the prospective coach? If it's Fitz that's no big surprise...his name has been tossed around since he was first seen on the sidelines.

The problem was less our D (we held USC 14 points under their average) than the fact that our offense came up empty in the second half. USC hasn't shut out anybody else in the second half this year.

This is the single biggest thing about Phil's defenses (and there's not much to criticize). Way too often he's content to let a hot QB stand back and do what he wants...rather than try to take him off his spot.

That's not so crazy. It's a byproduct of the schedule. He conveniently left out post-season. (tougher games) In 2022 Iowa lost not only 2, but 3 in a row during the regular season.

You mean the West coast in general, right? Iowa hasn't played @ USC since 1976
