    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

I couldn't resist a peek. Some of the stuff on Cyclown forums is gold.

    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

Prepare for this from ISU fans. "We were passing Iowa, he won the last 3 out of 4...our program had clearly surpassed Iowa.

I wonder if Franklin's Va Tech contract included a clause to get Penn St on the schedule ASAP? ;)

At this point, they're unlikely to get an "upgrade" over Franklin

His agent? Much has been made of the fact that he doesn't have a personal agent. Regardless...say what you want in front of the cameras. When your phone rings, you answer it. If not, maybe he's happy in Ames. (could there be a more oxymoronic phrase?!)

Fry's Forecast Fizzled: KF Confirms He Will Be Back in '26.

How convenient that you never say a name. Clearly there's no secret deal in the works so it's no more valid than other speculation at this point.

DJ Vonnahme answers the call, this time in Iowa City

I think we'll a resurgance of the TE position and use. Vonnahme, Ortwerth, Ostrenga (is he coming back?)...lots of talent. AND they all have tight end kind of names! LOL

    KF Starting QBs

MG had a great season and it's too bad we don't have him for another year. But let's not get carried away with those comparisions.

"IF" this is indeed Kirk's swan song, who do you want?

So somebody read that Norvell was going to be the honorary captain against MSU and threw his name out. A guy who went 18-26 at Colorado State. Not a chance. Like you said, the guy is not connected anymore. ;)

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

Smith would seem to be a weak choice but that may end up being their best option. They can always use the "program continuity" angle for PR. Would be crazy if they actually did go after Campbell (which I still think is a long shot)

    Boise State...

Make them get rid of that damn blue field.

"IF" this is indeed Kirk's swan song, who do you want?

Again. 1. Bielema burned some bridges in IC. He won't be a candidate 2. Bielema has a clause in his Illinois contract prohibiting him from taking another B1G job

    CFP Thread

Top 25 is not specific enough. Did each beat a team ranked 22 or 6? (for example) and when were they ranked in the Top 25? Also...who did they lose to?

    Why Evanston? What's the connection?

    Lane Kiffin fiasco

Closer. ;) You have to leave room for a 12-0 Boise St that's got a big non-con win (Notre Dame for example). I do think 16 is the perfect number. a 3-loss team has no complaint. I don't care who they lost to. If you wanna play for the NC you have to put up a great season. I still think a #4...

    Lane Kiffin fiasco

I get your point but winning an 18 team deep B1G or SEC isn't that easy. 2nd-4th place teams in those conferences would win most others. Bump it to 16, leaving room for a few more at-large teams. I think that'll happen soon.
