Agree. you tackle by going forward. What if the offensive player puts his head down. There are times there is just going to be inadvertent hits. Hits ya can't really control.

I agree. I would not have complained if it was called targeting but Iowa got screwed it seems out of many calls this year so what comes around goes around.

    Possible Bowl game

I was thinking this. Could this be in play at this point?

Agree, Nebby just has to realize what deficits they have to overcome as a program this day and age, much like Iowa. Problem with Nebby is they have no identity to their team. That's very difficult in college football. When was the last time you could say they had an identity? Pelini??

Rhule is a career .500 coach. Has had a couple teams that have been a flash in the pan but he kind of looks lost on the sideline, IMO. Also, Nebby has a winning record in only 3 of the last 10 years. Rhule has two and you have to go back to Pelini for the last prior to Ruhle. Also, no Nebby team...

Iowa Has Passed The Eye Test.

They are a cut and go to the hoop kind of team looking for high percentage and high efficiency shots. With how many times they've been going to the FT line a game, is making up the point difference with 3's if they were to hit them.

Iowa Has Passed The Eye Test.

The hope was that Iowa was going to be good and a different kind of team that could play defense. The question was how they would do in the BIG once conference games started. How would McCollum do, bringing a bunch of players up from Div II, to Drake than onto Iowa, a p4 team in a good...

Rumor Has It. - Dylan Riaola

Yep, that's where we are now. Even the good players for solid teams in the BIG are going to get poached, and prob vise versa. The AL, Ohio St, Michigans, Penn St, Georgia's, LSU are all going to just poach players. There is definitely going to be a top tier of a few teams at the top in each...

Rumor Has It. - Dylan Riaola

I have heard from a couple sources that Dylan Raiola is entertaining entering the transfer portal. His brother Dayton recently announced he was leaving and there are stories mentioning Alabama may be going after Dylan. Will be interesting to watch. I kind of wondered after seeing Dayton was leaving.

Again, we are closer to Purdue than we are at Ohio State. Not saying we are Purdue but Iowa as a program with the $$$, recruiting difficulties is closer to a Purdue, Nebby than a Ohio St, Michigan, etc..

    Wetjen Named Jet Award Finalist

Every return for a TD he gets he does one thing, the first juke move between defenders after getting the ball. I've never seen a returner completely fake out the gunners like he does every return.
