Doesn't it feel like Penn St. already has someone pegged but now just waiting for the playoffs to end, like their next coach is still coaching a team above the Cheez It bowl.

All they do is keep searching with unattainable expectations at this point. It's the proverbial gerbil in the wheel. It's kind of fun to watch. Their fans need to understand who and where they are in the college football landscape this day and age.

I'm good with 12. It just gets watered down. Make it a special season to make the playoffs. No reason to have 5-6 teams from the BIG or SEC get in every year.

Damn, that's funny how it correlates pretty much with most years final standings in the BIG. After a few years, it will be interesting comparing the $$$$$ in programs to where they finish in conference. In yrs past, there has always been a direct correlation with that as well.

Did he resurrect those two programs or did he get the programs in decent shape with the cubboards full, have success than drop off after those recruits were gone?

Stanzi is still one of my fav's. He just had this confidence and moxy to him like not many others. He could throw a pick 6 and the next drive go in and throw a TD. He had this innate ability to flush bad plays and move on. Fun to watch.

He honestly just looks lost on the sidelines and now as you state it's looking like that at pressers to. He's apparently a coach who is only going to go as far as the coaches/coordinators he has hired. If he hits the lottery and gets good coaches than he looks good. If not you see what you get...

What Ferentz needs to say on the recruiting trail to recruits is "I have more wins in Memorial Stadium than the last 4 coaches". Sign here.

Agree, but I have to agree with that decision as their defense was a mess and they are just not tough on the interior. More heads will fall. But, to your point, yes ya can't have any consistency doing the revolving door for coaches.

People forget that Nathan Chandler was a 10 win QB. Unfortunately, it was a flash in the pan as he only started the one season.
