I'm not 100% convinced that this is true. I do think Kirk gets a little bit into playing Michigan State because of a distaste for Dantonio. I also don't think it is a coincidence that Iowa has a ridiculous track record against PSU. He's a native and I think that game means a bit more for him...

With ISUs all-conference center unable to go I think that helps more than it seems. Hawks Dline finally gets some pressure. Is Lomax back? If so, I really like Iowa's D versus their O. On the flip side Iowa should be able to control the line of scrimmage and JR won't be asked to do too much...
